“I have been a nurse since 2017, but my passion for foot care started during one of my nursing school placements. While shadowing a foot care nurse, I fell in love with the role and knew it was something I wanted to pursue. I promised myself I’d gain some hands-on nursing experience after graduating, then return to specialize in nursing foot care. True to that promise, I completed my foot care program in 2018 and opened Head to Toe Healthcare in 2019!

Foot care is not only my passion but also deeply personal. My husband has been living with type 1 diabetes since he was 13, and he inspired my focus on diabetic foot care. I’m committed to helping individuals with diabetes take proactive steps to manage the risks of foot complications through thoughtful, personalized care.

Since starting Head to Toe Healthcare, my business has grown rapidly. Today, I not only care for clients but also mentor new foot care nurse graduates, helping them thrive in their careers and launch their own businesses.

My team and I provide foot care services in individual homes, nursing facilities, and clinics. “
 

Foot Care Nurse: Monica Soucy, LPN 👣

Monica will be covering a portion of our clients while Victoria is on maternity leave. You will see Monica at Northwood Bedford - Ivany Place, Haven Manor - Halifax, Gordon B Isnor Manor, and doing home visits around HRM. 


Foot Care Nurse: Tracy LaPointe, LPN 👣

Tracy will be covering a portion of our clients while Victoria is on maternity leave. You will see Tracy at Northwood Halifax - Manor, Tower, Almon Place, and Pauline Potter Health Centre, The Berkeley, Gordon B Isnor Manor, and the St Margaret’s Bay Community Enterprise Clinic.

Foot Care Nurse: Shayla Parsons, LPN 👣

Shayla has been an independent contractor with us since August 2024 assisting with our free clinic at the Gordon B Isnor Manor every six weeks.
