Victoria Bentley, LPN ✨

Victoria Bentley is the owner and Director of Care at Head to Toe Healthcare, a trusted provider of diabetic and advanced foot care across Nova Scotia. A nurse since 2017, Victoria discovered her passion for foot care during a nursing school placement and knew immediately it was the path she wanted to follow. After completing her Foot Care program in 2018, she opened Head to Toe Healthcare the following year.

Her passion is deeply personal, inspired by her husband, who has lived with type 1 diabetes since childhood. That connection drives her commitment to helping clients manage and prevent foot complications through personalized, compassionate care.

Her work is grounded in compassion, personalized care, and a commitment to making healthcare accessible within every community she serves.

Sara Girard, LPN 👣

Sara has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2013 and began her journey in foot care in 2023. She works in mental health at the Nova Scotia Hospital and brings warmth, skill, and a splash of pink to everything she does, literally! You’ll always find her dressed head-to-toe in her favourite colour!

You will find Sara doing our home visits within HRM.

Martha Wright, LPN 👣

My name is Martha Wright. I am a licensed practical nurse with more than 11 years of hands on experience across a variety of clinical settings, including six years in fast-paced medical and acute care. I value authentic nurse-client relationships and i am known for my approachable nature and for keeping spirits high with my honest, sometimes boldly humorous personality. I believe in bringing joy into every interaction and laughter is the best medicine.

As a proud military wife, mom of two, and casual NSCC nursing instructor, I love teaching, mentoring, and leading others. My Goal is delivering care that is safe, efficient, and meaningful, and I am committed to continually expanding my nursing skill set.

Stepping into the world of foot care, I am excited to combine my compassion, clinical expertise, and love of connection to help clients stay comfortable, confident, and supported , one visit at a time.

You will find Martha doing home visits in HRM as well as clinic days at DocSide Wellness (Tantallon) and Many Hats (Bedford)!

Catherine Frenette, LPN 👣

Catherine is a registered nurse with specialized Advanced Nursing Foot Care Program training. After graduating from St.Francis Xavier University in 2016, she moved to Halifax where she has since been practicing nursing in long term care settings.

Catherine was drawn to nursing with a desire to help others. She develops strong therapeutic relationships with those she cares for, improving patient outcomes and promoting holistic healing.

Deborah Stewart, LPN 👣

Deborah is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with specialized Advanced Nursing Foot Care Program training. Bringing over 15 years of healthcare experience, she currently also practices at the Dartmouth General Hospital.

Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Deborah strives to create a warm and inviting environment so every client feels completely at ease. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, tackling DIY projects, and gardening. You will find Deborah working at the Pauline Potter Health Clinic and Northwood Manor.

Kim Farnell, RN 👣

Kim is a Registered Nurse who completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia in 2015, followed by perioperative training that supported several years of operating room practice in Australia and Nova Scotia.

Since relocating to Seabright in 2020, she has balanced casual operating room work with running her own business and managing a small farm. She is now transitioning into community-based practice, focusing on advanced foot care nursing to provide accessible, practical support to local residents.

You will find Kim working at our DocSide Wellness clinic in tantallon twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

Carmen Slaunwhite, LPN 👣

Carmen is a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Geriatric, Mental Health and Advanced Foot Care. Since 2019, her nursing journey has been defined by a simple goal: helping others through education, health promotion and compassionate supportive care. Her strong family values led her to specialize in Advanced Foot Care Nursing.

She wanted to deepen her clinical skills and provide gold standard, specialized care to her clients, while also maintaining a personal energy to be fully present for her family. She believes that exceptional healthcare starts with empathy, respect and clear communication, and she strives to bring those principals to every client she serves.

Kristina Serrano, LPN 👣

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with over 12 years of experience working with geriatric population in LTC setting. I currently work in Family medicine unit, where I continue to expand my clinical knowledge and skills. Geriatric care and clinical nursing have been a meaningful part of my career.

Through my experience, I have developed a strong passion for providing compassionate, respectful and patient-centered care. My goal is to create a caring and supportive experience for every individual I work with.

Lilin Susa, RN 👣

Lilin is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for providing holistic, client-centred care. Her nursing journey began in Mumbai, India, and has taken her through diverse experiences in home healthcare, acute care, advanced education, clinical instruction, and nursing in Nova Scotia.

With a strong focus on preventative foot care, Lilin is committed to helping clients maintain their mobility, comfort, and overall well-being. She believes every client deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, and strives to create a welcoming and supportive experience for everyone in her care. Lilin is passionate about empowering her clients through education and personalized care, helping them take an active role in their foot health. One step at a time. 👣

Meghan McKnight, LPN 👣

Hi! I’m Meghan and I’ve been an LPN for a little over a year now, though I have about 13 years of experience caregiving. I work part-time in palliative medicine currently, and I love crafting, knitting and spending time with friends and family.
